Jagadguru Shri Kripalu Ji Maharaj

The title “Jagadguru,” meaning spiritual master of the entire world, is an extraordinary distinction in the realm of spirituality. While the word itself appears in sacred scriptures like the MahabharataBhagavatam, and Skanda Purana as an epithet for divine personalities such as Krishna and Shiva, its usage in the current age of Kaliyug is rare and reserved for the loftiest of saints. In 5,000 years of Kaliyug, only five personalities have been acknowledged as Jagadgurus, each one a God-realized master with unshakable command over the scriptures and the spiritual capacity to lift the world out of ignorance.
